Originally inspired by visiting birds to his patio, Kay designed the Songbirds in the 1950s. This particular Nightingale is the stuff of Fairytales. The green and blue directly inspired from H.C Andersen's fairy tale The Nightingale, the classic story of an emperor enchanted by the Nightingale's song.
